Fortunately the skies were pretty clear here in Slovakia for this event. I took these pictures from a hill outside Nitra looking towards Zobor. Clearly I had chosen a good vantage point as a couple of other photographers appeared, well done to The Photographer’s Ephemeris!
The third image was taken in the early morning from our garden in Šintava. This was my first time attempting anything like this but I was reasonably happy with the results. I used a Canon 1DX Mark II and 100-400L Mark II.
