Dražovce church

 

 

This beautiful Romanesque church on a hill in the town of Nitra is one of the oldest churches in Slovakia. Officially the Church of St. Michael the Archangel it originally dates from the 11th century and was built on the site of an iron age fort. Interestingly there are 55 graves that have been located around the church although the area is very popular for picnics and viewing the town.
