An easter weekend to remember

So we have finally sorted out our route to Slovakia. We have decided to take our three dogs and cat with us in the car and horse trailer, which should make for an interesting journey. Our travel starts on Good Friday with a crossing on the Channel Tunnel, followed by an overnight stay in Belgium. We then have a long drive to Slovakia, with two more overnight stops in Germany. On Monday we drive through Austria, and arrive in Slovakia sometime in the afternoon.

The Hotel Tevel in Sládkovičovo will then be our Slovakian home for 10 days until our furniture arrives. Our room has optimistically been described as a luxury apartment, so we are hoping that there will be enough room for the two of us and our menagerie. It is well located however, being about 10 minutes from both our new house, and the stables at Galanta.
